Installed the 2026 GMC Yukon Autostop Eliminator and honestly the hardest part was fighting the mystery clip engineering 😂.

Helpful tip: move the red clip first, then press down on the black part so the green clip can move. After figuring that out, the install took less than 10 minutes total.

Now I don’t have to remember to turn off the auto start/stop every single time I drive. My Yukon and my sanity both thank you. Great product and truly worth it.

The autostop works great - exactly as advertised. No longer does my Palisade turn off at red lights or when I am stopped in traffic. The installation video made the installation seem just a bit easier than it actually was, for me. I was afraid of breaking the trim on the console so I used a trim removal tool to lift the edges a bit before using brute force to get the trim piece completely loose. Once the trim was loose, the process took less than five minutes - from installing the autostop eliminator wiring to reinstalling the console trim, removing the blue painters tape, and testing it. Seriously, a great product!
