The Autostop Eliminator is an intelligent device that plugs into the back of your vehicle's auto stop-start switch assembly. It restores your preference for auto start-stop automatically which eliminates the need to press the disable auto stop button after each ignition cycle.

Unlike diagnostic port solutions for GM vehicles, our device will not:
  • Disable the malfunction indicator light (check-engine light)
  • Drain the battery
  • Disable Active Fuel Management (AFM)
  • Interfere with airbag functionality
  • Keep the vehicle in diagnostic mode

Accessing the switch may seem a little intimidating to some, but it's actually not bad. First-time installers can usually install the device in 30 minutes or less. Experienced installers can install it in about 15 minutes.

They tell you that it’s easy to install but that is complete nonsense. I don’t want to tear apart the console of an $80,000 vehicle. I emailed them asking if there was anyone in Austin who could do it. No response

First let me say that I'm sorry for the response delay. We had a family emergency that kept us away from the business for a few days.

It's a bit unfair to equate a 5-minute install process to tearing apart the console. We make a quality product that works perfectly and installs easily. Our installation video is on our product page and you had every opportunity to review that video prior to purchasing. Choosing not to watch and then leaving us a one-star review afterwards is completley unfair. I hope that you will update your review.

The installation on the Tahoe is pretty straightforward. It's actually possible to do the entire installation from the side access panel without removing any of the dash trim. We just show the removal method in our video because it always works for people where as the side access is a little trickier. We don't have authorized installers but about any mechanic or aftermarket stereo shop can install the device for you. We're also here to help.
