The Autostop Eliminator is an intelligent device that plugs into the back of your vehicle's auto stop-start switch assembly. It restores your preference for auto start-stop automatically, which eliminates the need to press the disable auto stop button after each ignition cycle.
Unlike diagnostic port solutions for GM vehicles, our device will not:- Disable the malfunction indicator light (check-engine light)
- Drain the battery
- Disable Active Fuel Management (AFM)
- Interfere with airbag functionality
- Keep the vehicle in diagnostic mode

Using the approach below, first-time installers can usually install the device in 30 minutes or less. Experienced installers can install it in about 15 minutes.

The installation was easy and it works great!

Easy install for a 2022 Chevy Tahoe Z71. From opening the box to reattaching all the trim took less than 15 mins.

Watch the video a couple times. (21 tahoe) Tricky removing the plug off the autostart dash button from the side access panel. A pick and small light is essential. Once I had that, the rest was easy. It works good and seems to be good quality. Funny they set that feature for city driving, when half the tahoes and yukons are in the hands of us rural customers.

Not much to add to previous reviews. It took me about 45 minutes. Most of that time was spent building finger memory of the orientation of things and running back and forth to my computer to re-view the video. The type of locking connector in the video is an exact match for my 2025 Tahoe. (one commentor mentioned having a different connector). Pro tip: The rotating lock mechanism for both the EOM and new connector is easier to manipulate when you're applying pressure to push the connector into the socket. First time in my life I was glad I have small hands.
