Wish I’d bought it sooner, maybe the best upgrade I’ve put into any vehicle I’ve owned.

For anyone with a Subaru Outback that is equipped with the Auto Start/Stop function this is the best modification since sliced bread. This has worked just as described and has eliminated the unexpected engine cut off’s at intersections, the restarts that were jerky, the times like when pulling up to a drive thru window waiting on prescriptions and never shutting the car off (when it’s most needed). Though, it shut off through every stop in the line of cars to get to the window. I took my time reviewing the video and would recommend wearing gloves throughout the whole process not only to protect the delicate headliner but incase you accidentally touch one of the eyesight cameras. The assembly removal does require using a bit of force but don’t worry the clips are very well made and do fit tightly. Just using my hands was enough and everything including the unplugging the main wire went smoothly with just using my hands. Tucking up the wires and securing with the zip tie is easy enough too. Putting the assembly cover back up was easy, just be sure to line up and pop in the front area closest to the windshield first then work towards the back. Removing and replacing the two mounting bolts was no problem either. Upon starting my car for the first time the change was instant, immediately disabling the system and giving me the option to turn it back on if I want to (the way it should’ve been from the factory). All in all, I highly recommend the product. Shipping was super fast and it is the best $99 I’ve spent on my car!

This device really works well. I’m not very handy. So, I had my local mechanic install it for me. It looked easy enough, but, I didn’t want to take the chance. All in all, it only took him a couple of minutes. And it is such a relief, not having to manually turn off the stop start/switch every single time I drive. Thank you!
