Disabling auto start/stop on your Escape couldn't be easier. This intelligent device restores your preference for auto start-stop automatically which eliminates the need to press the button after each ignition cycle.

The device simply plugs in on the backside of the diagnostic port into the gateway module. No screws or panels need to be removed. This device works as it should

This device works as it should, and installation is straightforward. My second purchase from these folks. First one was for a Chrysler, and the second is for a Ford. I recommend to anyone looking for a clean simple fix to the annoying auto stop. Once installed, your vehicle will remember the auto stop setting, exactly the way it should have been from the factory. It’s unfortunate that we have to undo the garbage that our government forces on us, but thankfully these folks have a solid solution.

What were Ford engineers thinking? There is no way your car restarting every time you stop is good for the starter, or the flywheel for that matter. The start/stop eliminator is 100% legit! Works just as described. Even tho it's pretty tight under the dash, this thing is easy to install. Completely worth the money!!!!! ME HAPPY!!
