I installed an Autostop Eliminator on my 2026 Chevrolet Traverse. The instruction video was detailed and made the installation wasy and completed within minutes. Useful hint, to prevent damage to the dash panel when removing, I borrowed my grandsons LEGO brick removal tool. Worked great.

The only thing I didn’t like about my 2022 Subaru forester, was not being able to permanently disable Autostop.

I hated pushing the button every time, and would often forget to hit it, only to be enraged when the engine stopped at a stop sign.

I was worried about installation as it involved accessing behind panels above the windshield.

However the video was make/ model/ year specific, and really easy.

Took ten minutes start to finish, and I love my car again…

Finally i got rid of this autostop BS!! Thanks to this autostop eliminator, it works perfect and the installation was a breeze really worth every peny

One of the best additions to my truck since FORD thought it would be a good idea to put this stupid button on a Raptor. This isn't a Prius... Let it run! Thanks Autostop Eliminator!

During install - Use an endoscope ($25 on ****) and turn it 180° so you can see your hand orientation as you get to the red tab and slide your tiny screwdriver in to pop it out. I also used 2 sided tape on my index finger and on the black latch to get it inserted. 10 minutes start to finish once I used those two ‘extras’.

I just received mine now for my 2026 Ford Explorer ST. It took two minutes to install. Worked perfectly perfect 👌 especially with the installation video.

Ok when I remote start the car from my phone, by default the auto start/stop system will come on. When I start the car manually the product does its job! Works beautifully!

Install was simple and straight forward. Working like it should. It's nice not to have to remember to turn off the start stop feature. Is it worth the money? For me it was.

After owning our '25 Outback for several months I asked my Wife if there was ANYTHING she disliked about the car. "Get rid of that damn autostop feature, it's driving me crazy and I HATE it..."
Well, problem solved!
Good install video, had a bit of trouble putting the the two bolts back in but no damage was done.
Fired up the Outback, light was off (default), did the engine off-engine engine-on shuffle to check, reactivated it to make sure and now it's OFF!
Your significant other will thank you, trust me...

AE054 Installed and works as advertised. I used a long shank small blade screwdriver to release the red safety latch because my arm was too large to allow me to see the small provided screwdriver. I use my index finger to memorize the shape of the plug and where the latch release tool (provided on lanyard) needed to be inserted. After doing that I was able to insert the tool in the latch release point with no issues. Using my thumb and index finger to pull down on the latch release tool while holding the wiring portion of the plug I was able to pull the plug out easily. The install of the AutoStop Eliminator was very straightforward and followed the video to a tee. I would recommend watching the video closely a couple of times. I'm a satisfied customer and appreciate the product being available on the market. Thanks!

Best thing ever.

Works as advertised. Installation was quick and easy. It doesn't permanently disable the autostop function, it just remembers the last button press and prevents it from resetting every time the engine turns off. Useful programming that should have been in the original design in my opinion.
