  • AE022 - Requires the Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB) option. This is not the same as rear parking sensors. Please do not order this type unless you are 100% certain you have the RAB option. If your vehicle has RAB, there will be a box mounted under the left seat just like the one in the install video. (The left seat is the driver's seat in North America)
  • AE038 - Fits all North American Subaru Forester trims and options. Installs overhead behind the stereo camera similar to how the AE026 installed into previous model years.

Love this! I drive for a living and I am so mad at myself for not finding it sooner

Love this! I drive for a living and I am so mad at myself for not finding it sooner. So much wear and tear with stopping/starting over and over all day. The only thing that is a bit odd is that it doesn’t seem to play well with the MySubaru remote start. I have to unlock my car with my key fob and stop/restart my car. Not a huge deal but would be better if it was seamless.

Works great - no more button to press!

So far, it is working great. I have heard horror stories about other similar products causing problems, but so far it is working great and no issues. Just a relief to not have to press that annoying button anymore.

Problem solved and easy to install. I had to remove (2) 10mm nuts to lift the module under the driver's seat in our 2022 Forester. Even with that, it took less than 5-minutes to install.
