Disabling auto start/stop on your Lincoln Corsair couldn't be easier. This intelligent device restores your preference for auto start-stop automatically which eliminates the need to press the disable auto stop button after each ignition cycle.

Locate the diagnostic port just below the dash in the driver's footwell area. The device simply plugs in on the backside of the diagnostic port into the gateway module.

With the car OFF, remove the lower trim cover below the diagnostic port. With the trim panel positioned out of the way unplug the connection on the back of the gateway module and insert our device inline. Once connected, use the included zip ties to secure the device. It literally only takes a few minutes to install start-to-finish.

Lincoln Corsair auto stop eliminator

Works great. Installation instructions on line made it a little tough on a 75 year old. I found if you drop the 2 nuts holding the check engine plug it is so much easier to install the eliminator harness.

I ran into a problem…

I finally installed the auto stop eliminator in my 2022 Corsair.
The night I did it, I started the vehicle and let it run for a few minutes. It was fine. I got a message in the dashboard menu saying auto start stop was "disabled by driver."
The next morning I started it again to go get groceries and I got multiple messages including advanced track disabled, 911 disabled, navigation disabled, something about the steering, and to take my vehicle in for service.
I removed the auto start stop and the car is running fine now.
I'm hesitant to reinstall the device, but it seems like my problem is not one that I've seen in this or other forums.

There is a bad connection somewhere. Either the device wasn't fully plugged in or a wire was pulled loose from the connector. Please inspect the harness to ensure there are no visible problems and reinstall ensuring that the connections are fully plugged in. If it happens again, contact us for a replacement.

Start Stop Gone

This was easy to install and I don’t have to go through the annoying process of pressing two buttons/sensors to get the start stop turned off, which I would forget to do occasionally. Rode in a friends car that had Start Stop operational and it drove me crazy. Love it.

One newbie question for the form…

My question is I was able to remove the two bolts and pull the port down from the dash. My issue is removing the cable from the back of the port. I keep pressing on the little tab and trying to grab it to pull straight out with no success. Obviously I'm doing something wrong! Any advice would be helpful!
