Ok when I remote start the car from my phone, by default the auto start/stop system will come on. When I start the car manually the product does its job! Works beautifully!

Install was simple and straight forward. Working like it should. It's nice not to have to remember to turn off the start stop feature. Is it worth the money? For me it was.

After owning our '25 Outback for several months I asked my Wife if there was ANYTHING she disliked about the car. "Get rid of that damn autostop feature, it's driving me crazy and I HATE it..."
Well, problem solved!
Good install video, had a bit of trouble putting the the two bolts back in but no damage was done.
Fired up the Outback, light was off (default), did the engine off-engine engine-on shuffle to check, reactivated it to make sure and now it's OFF!
Your significant other will thank you, trust me...

AE054 Installed and works as advertised. I used a long shank small blade screwdriver to release the red safety latch because my arm was too large to allow me to see the small provided screwdriver. I use my index finger to memorize the shape of the plug and where the latch release tool (provided on lanyard) needed to be inserted. After doing that I was able to insert the tool in the latch release point with no issues. Using my thumb and index finger to pull down on the latch release tool while holding the wiring portion of the plug I was able to pull the plug out easily. The install of the AutoStop Eliminator was very straightforward and followed the video to a tee. I would recommend watching the video closely a couple of times. I'm a satisfied customer and appreciate the product being available on the market. Thanks!

Best thing ever.

Works as advertised. Installation was quick and easy. It doesn't permanently disable the autostop function, it just remembers the last button press and prevents it from resetting every time the engine turns off. Useful programming that should have been in the original design in my opinion.

The product works great. Love not having to turn off the auto stop feature after every ignition. Though the installation took longer than shown in the video, about 30 mins because the video demonstrated the installation on a Forester but I have a Crosstrek and there wasn’t enough space to install the connector without taking off the metal cover plate.

I installed the Autostop Eliminator for my 2024 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, and it has performed flawlessly from day one. The product itself is extremely well made, and the connectors are true OEM-style, making for a seamless plug-and-play connection without any cutting, splicing, or modifications.

The installation, however, is not for the faint of heart. The workspace behind the center stack is incredibly tight, and much of the process requires working blind through the glovebox opening. As someone with extra-large hands, reaching the connection point was challenging enough, but not being able to see what I was doing made it even more difficult.

My advice: slow down, be patient, and take your time. Every scratch on your hands and arms is worth it in the end. Once installed, the device works exactly as advertised and remembers your preference every time you start the truck.

If you're tired of pressing the Auto Stop button every time you drive, this is the solution. Excellent product, OEM-quality fit and finish, and flawless performance.
